Hello everyone!

My name is April Nguyen. I was born and raised in Arizona. Both of my parents are from Vietnam so I was raised in a blend of Vietnamese and American culture. I enjoy reading, playing with my big, fat, black cat, and spending time with my family and boyfriend. 

I am currently co-enrolled in Phoenix College and ASU in their Medical Laboratory Science program, but I completed my prerequisites at MCC. I am working towards achieving my BAS in Medical Laboratory Science. I don't have a particular favorite research topic at the moment since I am only in the first semester of my program's classes and everything is quite new to me, but I am a certified phlebotomist so I am fond of the classes on hematology and blood. I have a very wide variety of phlebotomy experience ranging from patient service centers, mobile phlebotomy, and outside COVID site testing.
