Week 9

 Hi everyone!

This week was similar to the previous week where I was able to count the growth of the new colonies from the Meyer’s soap and with just water, and I also created two more plates using the Irish Spring and Dove soaps. I’ve attached a picture of the Irish Spring plate results below. The big clusters of the smaller bacteria are from under the fingernails. It always amazes me how well Irish Spring performs compared to the other types of soaps, especially since I don’t normally think of that brand as super effective. Since I won’t be able to go into the lab next week, I’m going to start my rough draft early. I’m thinking about expanding on the ingredients in the different types of soaps.
